Halifax Buskers time!!

Hi All!

For all of you who are major supporters/fans of the buskers that come and visit our city.. good news they're BACK!

It kicked off Wednesday afternoon and will go all the way until Natal Day (which gives you no excuse not to visit the water front because it's a long weekend!)

This is a perfect event for you and the kiddies because admission into the festival is totally free (donations are asked from the performers because they are working the show on their own dime!) and there is lots of talent to watch along with food trucks and a midway.

We will be there all week with the ballot box for the Coachmen Clipper and the "C100 Don't Forget the Lyrics" game!

With so many amazing acts its hard to narrow down which ones are a must see! But don't fret we have a few must see acts; The USA break dancers, Izza Flambe and Third Wind. We promise it will keep everyone on the edge of their seats including the kiddies!

Check out a full list of event times here:

And make sure to come visit and play the "Don't Forget the Lyrics Game" to win yourself a 5$ subway gift card and some other C100 swag!

Top places to go RVing in Halifax

Okay, we are OBSSED with our coachmen clipper and we want you to be as well! So what better way to inspire you than showing you awesome pictures of it and giving you ideas on where to take it.

All of these places are in our own back yard which is one of the many reasons why Nova Scotia is the best!

1. Oven's National Park: This place deserves an A+++ for scenery! Make sure to check it out, lots of great hiking and photo opportunites to make some memories with the family!

2. Graves Island Provincial Park: This one may be a little bit of a drive, but long drives with the family can be made fun with road trip games and of course C100! And plus you can relax in an RV post road trip!

3. Rissers Beach Provincial Park: Once again a bit of a drive but think of all the beautiful trails and beach time you can have once you get there!

4.Yogi Bears Campground: The kids will LOVE this one! Theres lots of things for them to do and hey! youre in the valley so maybe leave them with a baby sitter while you sneak off to the vineyards for some wine time!

We hope you love the clipper as much as we do! We can't wait to see who wins on August 31st !!

Kick off to Pride

Hey All!

Pride week is here! And are we ever excited that we got to kick it off in true Queen style!!

One of the things that pops into our heads when we think of Drag Queens is their incredibly talented lip syncing skills.. Trust us its a millions times harder than you think.

We met so many amazing people and Jhordan even had the honours being on the judging panel!

We kicked off the show with our own rendition of "You're the one that I want" from one of our favourite movies "Grease" and we're thinking that maybe we should leave most of the dancing to Sandy and Danny.

This was just one of the few amazing pride events that are going on in HRM and this upcoming week is jammed packed! Including the big parade on Saturday, you definitely will not want to miss that!
PS. a HUGE congrats goes out to Axel who claimed the title of lip sync champion.. BTW we weren't kidding when we said we wanted dance lessons.

OH CANADA!

This past Canada day was a TIME! We had a blast celebrating with everyone, and honouring this GREAT country we live in.

You guys made us feel like celebrities during the parade! There were so many smiling faces and excited kiddies to see us.. well maybe it was our friends Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran on the side of the Subway Summer Cruiser. (That was probably more like it because who doesn't love "Uptown funk"?!?!)

We also got to make fools of ourselves and attempt to help run a children's zumba class on stage. We may not of been born with rhythm but there were so many little ones who were having a blast so we decided to take a lesson from them and just dance like we were 4 years old again. We also got to take one of the coolest selfies.. Who has the opportunity to take a selfie with hundreds of people!?

Later on that night we had the honour of hosting the Bedford days Canada day celebration! There were so many amazing acts that performed including "Big Fish" who played the widest range of music, we thought they were just pulling our leg when they were describing their band. It was like having an iPod on shuffle and listening to hits from almost every decade.

We are already making a count down for next year! We can't wait!

Garden party fit for a Princess

WOW! Does the SPCA (The Nova Scotia Society for the Protection of Cruelty of Animals) knows how to make a party fit for royalty. We got to hang out with some of the prettiest princess in the HRM area.

It was a sold out Garden party that had an exclusive guest list consisting of Elsa, Ana, Rapunzel, Merida, Tiana and of course we had to have a Fairy Godmother! Everything had so much thought put into the day, from the "Frozen" themed cake to a glitter walk way throughout the park.

Elsa and Ana used their powerful pipes to open the party with several songs from "Frozen" including a sing-along version of the famous "Let it Go." After that there were crafts and face painting.. even target practice with Merida.

We made sure to bring pink princess ice cream for the lovely princess' and prince's that were there. Little did they know.. we brought the Scotsburn frozen yogurt from the Smart Indulgence line that is low cal, low sugar content and overall as healthy as ice cream gets! Your welcome parents!
